Welcome to PR Warrior - here's a quick primer
Hi there, and thanks for stopping by!
The origins of PR Warrior stretch back to July, 2007 when I published my first post on Typepad, at the time a leading blogging platform.
Fast forward a few years, I made the switch to WordPress. I couldn't bring over my existing posts from Typepad, so I started again from scratch. Basically, what you see here is my entire archive of posts and essays from that point, dating back to 2013.
I've since paused publishing here, but I'm still writing long-form articles - you can find all my new stuff over on Substack.
While I focused in the early days on writing about all things PR and social media, I've since broadened my subject matter in line with the massive changes that have occurred to the media, marketing and communications landscape more generally.
Inside this blog, you'll see articles on content marketing, authority building, personal branding, earned media, social media, owned media, event marketing, speaking and thought leadership - all through a lens of PR and communications.
Also included in the archives are show notes for my podcast Reputation Revolution (now called Earn The Right) - it's a well-established show that's still running today.
